ADDRESS/DIRECTIONS: Auction being held at Freeman Yoder Auction Center, 199 Tipple Rd, Punxsutawney, PA 15767. From Punxsutawney, take Route 36 South about 7.5 miles to Tipple Rd (T668), turn right, go about 1/4th mile. Auction Center is on the right. Watch for signs.
The Morran Cast Iron Toy Collection contains a vast array of cast iron and other toys to include, but not limited to Arcade, Kilgore, Champion, Thomas, Hubley, Kenton, Hot Wheels, Buddy L, Sharon, Tootsie Toy, Nylint, Tonka, Matchbox and Legos. Most toys are made of cast iron, but there are a few pressed steel, diecast and plastic items.
Cast iron banks: dogs, elephants, pig, lions, cat, still banks, horse and soldier to name a few.
Vehicles: ambulance, horse drawn vehicles, buses, cars, race cars, variety of motorcycles, steamboat, airplanes, dump trucks, road grader and other construction equipment, Pullman railroad cars and other trains, station wagon, fire trucks, tanker trucks, car transporters, van, trailers, crash cars as well as loads of spare parts.
Other cast iron items: miniature doll furniture, miniature tools, banks and figurines.
